Pin protocol

The ear is placed vertically in front of the blue background. Support for the ear and the marker ColorChecker is the clothespins, which are placed on a tripod. In this way, rotating the ear on its axis, it is possible to shoot the ear in four or more projections.

Two pulsed light sources Falcon TE-300 (flash power is set to position 2.5), softboxes Falcon 60x60 cm, camera Canon 350D, lens EF-S 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6, were used. Shooting parameters shutter speed 1/160, aperture 11, ISO 100, focal length 55mm, shooting in RAW format. The white balance was set when the RAW file developed on the white background of the ColorChecker.

Distance from the object: to the background of 60 cm, to light sources 100 cm, to the camera 120 cm. A camera mounted on a tripod, the object and the light sources are located at the same height, comfortable for the photographer's work.
